Ingram continues to add more popular fiction to MyiLibrary.  See the news release below for information about 12,000 Harlequin titles (front and backlist).

Nashville, TN – As publishers and libraries develop e-book models to meet patron expectations, more are working with Ingram Content Group and its MyiLibrary® platform for its reach and comprehensive title offering.  Ingram Content Group announced it will add thousands of popular Harlequin titles to the platform.

“We are pleased to expand our e-book distribution with Ingram to include the MyiLibrary e-book platform, which will enable our titles to be available to more library patrons worldwide,” said Brent Lewis, Executive Vice President of North American Marketing and Digital at Harlequin.

Harlequin will add more than 12,000 titles to the MyiLibrary platform.  Titles will be both frontlist and backlist, nonfiction and fiction titles, and will be from multiple Harlequin imprints.  The company will continue to use Ingram’s Lightning Source® print-on-demand solution for its print needs.

“As e-book use continues to climb, we’re seeing an increase in the adoption and offering of digital content through our MyiLibrary platform,” said Dan Sheehan, Vice President and General Manager, Ingram Content Group library services.  “Using the platform, Harlequin will expand the reach of its content to the many libraries that are developing digital programs to meet the needs of their patrons.”

Ingram’s MyiLibrary platform, the fastest-growing and most comprehensive online e-content solution for libraries, provides a single source for content hosting, archiving, discovery, access and purchasing. More than 3,000 academic, professional, and public libraries around the world have integrated the platform into daily lending activities, and have access to more than 400,000 titles that cover all major disciplines. Using the platform, library patrons can read content online, or download to a PC, laptop or digital device.
